U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announces recall of Lollytogs jacketsDue to a strangulation hazard, the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Lollytogs hooded jackets.

It has been reported that about 23,000 Rim Rocka Boys' Hooded Jackets and Pelle Pelle Girls' Hooded Jackets were imported from Pakistan and Bangladesh by Lollytogs Ltd. of New York and sold nationwide from February 2008 through September 2009 for about $14.

The commission further said that the jackets include drawstrings that pose a risk of strangulation.

The boys' jackets are black or navy blue with red and white trim or gray and white trim. They have an emblem with "RR" on it on the left shoulder and a large number on the front.

It was also reported that the girls' jackets have a front zipper, come in pink or white and have pictures of bottle caps printed on the hood and sleeves. The words "Soda Club" are prominently displayed on the sweatshirt.

The commission officials further revealed that consumers were advised to remove the drawstrings or return the garment to the retailer for a full refund or store credit. (With Inputs from Agencies)
