Amman - A US B52 strategic bomber exploded Friday as it landed at Qatar's al-Udeid airbase, the Doha-based al-Jazeera satellite broadcaster reported.

The network cited "technical reasons" for the crash of the US aircraft, but did not say whether the incident resulted in casualties. (dpa)
