United India logs nearly 18 percent growth
Chennai, Oct 22 : The city-based non-life insurer United India Insurance has logged a 17.55-percent growth in the first half this fiscal.
The Rs. 4,277-crore company earned a gross premium of Rs. 2,463.22 crore in the first six months as against Rs. 2,092.84 crore earned in the corresponding period of 2008.
It has set a revenue target of Rs. 200 crore from its 295 single-person offices, up from Rs. 141 crore earned in the last fiscal. (IANS)
