Twin blasts near Pak Army Headquarters claim one life, several injured

Rawalpindi, Nov 24: Blast near Pak Army HeadquartersAt least one security official killed and several other injured in two suicide attacks that occurred near the Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

"One was at a check post near GHQ and the other was on a bus of sensitive institution near Faizabad," The News quoted Director General ISPR Major General Waheed Arshad, as saying.

Initial reports suggested that both were suicide attacks, he added.

The area has been cordoned off after the blast and body of deceased person and inured were shifted to nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, the unknown miscreants have blown up a railway line between Saryab and Sapizand near Quetta with explosive material.

A two-feet railway line was blown up near the Balochistan capital as a result of heavy explosion, the Railway officials said. (ANI)
