Twenty20 Cup Rescheduling Angers England

England has expressed displeasure on rescheduling of Twenty20. India has allegedly forced Twenty20 Cup Rescheduling Angers England the rescheduling. Australia and South Africa also supported the Indian move. The Twenty20 Champions League will now take place on December 3-10 in India. It was earlier scheduled in the months of November and October. The first test will be played in Ahmedabad. The test and one day series between India and UK is also scheduled during this period. The second test will be played I Mumbai after four days.

Meanwhile Australia has also rescheduled the first test of its three-test cricket series against South Africa in December. It is done to allow its players to take part in the inaugural Twenty20 Champions League in India. The Perth match between cricket's No. 1 and No. 2 will now be played five days later than scheduled.

The chief executive of cricket Australia, James Sutherland said that the new dates will be helpful to support cricket at all levels.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has refused to push back the test series. The ECB spokesman has said that the board has apprised the Indian authorities regarding their views.
