Operating under the brand name Tata Indicom, the Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) on Wednesday launched the global data roaming facility for its post-paid customers. Launched in association with Tata Communications, the TTSL has extended its global data roaming services to mobile customers through Cyberpass.

According to the TTSL, the data roaming service will be available to all Tata Indicom post-paid customers with a single login (one single login/password) internet access though dial-up, broadband or from Wi-Fi zones across 160 countries and over 400 airports. The service will be open to all postpaid users. The customers will be able to access data across the world but will pay in Rupees.

The TTSL explained that the customers will get simplified bills with calculations done in Indian currency, despite the calls made on internatinal roaming. The customers will be able to check out their global roaming usage by visting the 'My Usage' section on the 'Cyberpass' website.
