Triple Five Group, the Canadian company that opened the Mall of America back in 1992, is planning to build a bigger shopping destination covering 200 acres. The mall will be called American Dream and will include simulated submarine rides, sea lions, a Legoland, and an artificial ski slope.

According to The Miami Herald, the mall is expected to cost over $4 billion. Triple Five Group and government officials familiar to the development said that it will be larger than the Mall of America. The mall will be developed in northwestern Miami-Dade County in Florida.

The American Dream Miami is going to include miniature golf, hotels and condominiums. It has been reported that the mall is also going to have the world’s largest ski dome, filled with ‘powder’ all year round, involving summer.

There are also other features to be included in the mall like the Art Deco Village of gourmet restaurants, Tivoli garden, a live theater and a London-size Ferris wheel overlooking the Everglades to the Ocean. The Miami Herald reported that the mall will provide about 25,000 jobs.

The mall will also help increase the economy and will open jobs in all of Miami-Dade. International visitors will be attracted by the mall. According to reports, it is expected that Triple Five is going to bring about $50 billion tax yearly after its completion.

Triple Five wants American Dream Miami to exceed their other world famous projects. The mall will be a full entertainment and shopping complex.

“There are a lot of folks in this town. Everybody is focused on high-paying jobs. Not everybody is qualified for them. Twenty-thousand jobs are twenty-thousand jobs”, said Mayor Carlos Gimenez.
