Transcend has revealed its high-speed, reliable flash memory card, named Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card in the Indian market.

The newly launched memory card runs in dual-channel Ultra DMA mode 5, which is basically the fastest speed available for CF cards.

The company said that the dual-channel Ultra DMA mode interface enables its new card to offer up extraordinary read and write speeds of up to 45MB per second on an average.

Besides, it also makes consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording with subsisting high-performance digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLR) easier than ever before.

Complying fully with the new CF 4.1 standard, Transcend's Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card comes packed with an advanced ECC (Error Correction Code) that will correct errors during data transfer automatically. This makes sure trustworthy, glitch-free data communication and avoids data corruption or missing files.

Transcend makes the most of top-tier SLC NAND Flash chips and top quality components in order to guarantee strong, long-life durability and guaranteed performance. Further, the 300X CompactFlash card is compatible with IDE PIO mode 6 and Ultra DMA mode 5.

Priced at around Rs 10,000, Transcend’s Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card will hit Indian markets around May 15th. It will come in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities together with international lifetime warranty.
