Threatening E-mail sender from Kochi gets bail
The 23-year-old Btech. Student of Kochi, Arun Surya, who sent threatening mails to the President Pratibha Patil and Congress President Sonia Gandhi has got bail finally.
A judicial magistrate court in Kochi has granted him conditional bail. He was arrested by Kochi police.
The magistrate directed him to appear before the investigating officer once in a week, not to leave the police station limit in the concerned area. He was directed to submit his passport with the police.
The mail warned of blast that would occur at various sensitive places around Kochi and Delhi. Surya sent the mail from a duplicate ID from from a Reliance Web world cafe at nearby Palarivattom.
He created the ID following his disturbance with his neighbor. He created an id with the girl’s in header of email as Manisha Manohar, and the ID used to send email was m.M114@hotmail.com.
