Thai shares fall 2.15 per cent on profit-taking
Bangkok - Thai shares lost 2.15 per cent in value Wednesday on profit-taking, analysts said.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index ended at 462.90, down 10.19 points, or 2.15 per cent.
"After a few days of rises there was profit-taking today," said Phuwadol Larpudomsuk, an analyst at Asia Plus Securities.
On Monday The SET jumped more than 6 per cent, one of the highest hikes in the region. It fell less than 1 per cent on Tuesday. (dpa)
