Terry Lift Presents New Design of Elevator

Terry Lifts in England has come up with a new kind of home elevator. The company based in Cheshire has developed a new type of elevator that could easily fit into a corner of room. Its main advantage is that it rises through a hole in the ceiling with no lift shaft required.

“You could describe it as a high-end chair lift. People don't want, in many cases, a chair-lift on their beautiful staircase and they don't necessarily want a lift; it's about looking at the lift for the long-term future proofing the property”, stated John McSweeney from Terry Lifts.

John continued by affirming that a stair-lift is a permanent feature on staircase, but such is not the case with their product. One can send it away when there is no need of it. As per the company, a complete installation of the Terry Lifestyle Lift will take four to five days. It shall however, be noted that it the elevator does not cost less.

The Lifestyle Lift comes up with a battery backup. Therefore, the user would not face any problem even if power cut happens. The Lifestyle Lift has an EU standard 30-minute fire protection feature between the floors.

Its bottom panel is pressure sensitive and safety edges does not allow further movement of the lift if any problem is detected whether above or below.
