The desperate users were provided a glimpse by LG of its new flagship multimedia cell phone, dubbed as Arena on Sunday. It has been learnt that the set would be make its debut at next week's Mobile World Congress expo in Barcelona.

Today the market is flooding with new and novel Netbooks each day, and to fit the pocket of the users, the companies are coming with smaller screen Netbooks, which carry a reasonable price tag. But still users prefer at least a 10-inch screen when it comes to choosing Netbook with small screen; and keeping this thing in mind, Acer that owes a huge chunk of the growing Netbook market and had the Acer Aspire One with a 9-inch screen, is coming out with a 10-inch model.

The Phenom II lineup by AMD was updated by the company on Monday with latest quad-core and its first triple-core Phenom II processors, across the DDR-3 memory transition in the process.

Other than this, five new Phenom II processors, three of which are quad-core chips: the 2.5-GHz, Phenom II X4 805; the 2.6-GHz X4 810; and the 2.6-GHz X4 910, were also launched by AMD. The 2.6-GHz Phenom II X3 710 and the new 2.8-GHz X3 720 "Black Edition", included in others, are basically the maiden triple-core Phenom II microprocessors by AMD.

The latest rumors which are floating all around are that Nokia will soon come out with an AppStore for its Symbian OS. If the rumors are true then the latest store will be announced officially during the upcoming Mobile World Congress, which is set to take place in Barcelona from 16th to 19th February.

No doubt, if Nokia comes out with an AppStore for Symbian, it will definitely help it to gin some advantage and it won't come as a big surprise too since last year the Finnish mobile phones maker has announced the Symbian Foundation.

Nikon toady made announcement regarding its AF-S DX 35mm f1.8 G lens, which is basically a "fast-fifty" for DX shooters and a fast aperture prime lens with a DX equivalent focal length of 52mm. Thus it replaces the classic 50mm focal length, long a standard in photography for having a field of vision similar to the human eye.

On Sunday a well known paper put forward the latest piece of news that Microsoft Corp is mulling to provide new programs and services for mobile phones, including an "online bazaar" for software.

The report published in the paper said that the online bazaar would be for phones running Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system.

It said, "Microsoft will also soon offer its latest version of Windows Mobile, which the report said would have a more sophisticated interface."
