Transcend has announced its new 192 GB high speed solid state drive (SSD), which comes with NAND flash memory, in the Indian market.
The SSD is also resistant to mechanical failure resulting from vibration, shock or heat. Moreover, it is compatible with SATA II, and offers high-speed transfer rate.
The company claims that this newly launched MLC-equipped 192GB SSD reads at the speed of 150 MB per second, while it writes at the speed of 90 MB per second.
It also has a strong new controller that surpasses standard 2.5” hard drives.
