The indigenously built unmanned air vehicle (UAV), Nishant opened a new chapter in the history of Indian Aviation on Sunday, when it accomplished its test flight successfully. The Nishant’s historic took its test flight from an abandoned runway of World War II at a small village named Veerapura, eight kilometres from Kolar in Karnataka.

The internet search giant, Google secured significant victories in its Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) cases against two Indian companies last month. The World Intellectual Property Rights Organization (WIPO) gave its verdict in favor of Google, in its domain names’ cases against Ascio Technologies and Net Jobs, and the WIPO arbitration and mediation committee transferred the domain names "googlehrd.com" and "mygooglemoney.com," used by the two Indian companies, to Google.
