It has been informed by the most popular video sharing site, Youtube, that it will make sure to include more music and less sex content, a move which is being seen as the site’s makeover.
YouTube that belongs to search giant Google, has informed about its plans under which it is looking forward to revise its policies surrounding mature content, which would be put to effect immediately. Any content that shows video of people in minimal or revealing clothes will be tagged as sexually suggestive, under the new guidelines.
Taipei - Despite the global recession, Taiwan plans to hold a large computer show in 2009 to showcase the world's newest computers and peripherals, a newspaper said Tuesday.
Computex Taipei 2009, the world' second-largest information and communication technology show after Germany's CeBIT, will be held at a record five halls in Taipei and the nearby town of Nankang June 2- 6, 2009, the Taipei Times quoted the organizer as saying.
The show is expected to have 4,800 booths, compared to 4,495 booths at Computex 2008, the paper quoted Yeh Ming- shui, vice president of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), as saying.
Intel, in the journal Nature Photonics, has claimed world record performance in optical communications using silicon photonics.
The major utilization of the Silicon photonics-based photo dectors is to send and receive optical information, particularly in very high-bandwidth applications like supercomputers. “Silicon photonics is essential for ultra-fast transfer of data (in) future computers powered by many processor cores,” reported Intel.
