Team India hopes that rain would not interrupt on the final day at KolkataRain will play an important role on the final day of the second test match between India and South Africa being played at Kolkata. As today, only 34.1 over play could be completed.

Now Indian skipper M. S. Dhoni is wishing that rain would not intervene again in the match as team India has only one day's play left to bowl out the opposite team to win the match and level the series. While on the other hand South Africa has 7 wickets to save the test match and win the series.

The visitors were 115/3 at stumps on the fourth day. They need another 231 runs to avoid an innings defeat. H. Amla 49* and A. Prince 0* were at the crease at the end of the fourth day's play. Indian spinners took all the three wickets fallen today.

Amit Mishra took two wickets while Harbhajan Singh took one wicket. The duo of the spinners could play a vital role for the visitors if rain allows the play tomorrow.

India coach Gary Kirsten still believes that team India has a chance can for a series-leveling win if there would be possibility of 40-50 over play tomorrow.

"We still have very good chance to win provided we get a couple of sessions of play tomorrow;" said Kirsten, adding that "India is playing for its pride."
