Dredging Corporation, SAIL and HPCL were among gainers in PSU stocks while IREDA, NTPC, NHPC and NTPC Green Energy closed the session in negative territory.

NALCO, IRFC, BHEL, NTPC shares were in demand on Wednesday but majority of action was witnessed in technology stocks. HCL Technologies jumped after the company announced strong quarterly results.

IREDA, BEML, NHPC, IRFC, BEML were among major gainers in PSU segment while NTPC, NALCO, Rail Vikas Nigam closed the trading session in negative territory.

NALCO, RITES, REC, IRFC, NMDC, Punjab & Sind Bank, MRPL, Power Grid and IREDA were among major gainers on Monday. Over the last six months, NSE Nifty is down by just 1.42 percent.

IREDA share price declined by 1.8 percent on Thursday after stellar performance on Wednesday.
