In a significant move, West Indies skipper Chris Gayle had rubbished rumors that his side would boycott the rest of the ODI series against England because of another dispute with the national cricket board.
Speaking on this, Gayle said, “There wasn't any threat made about boycotting any games, not to my knowledge. If the game wasn't supposed to go on, I'd be home cocking up my legs now.”
Wellington, Jan. 14 : West Indies captain Chris Gayle has stormed his way back to the number one place in the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings for ODI batsmen after a series of fine performances against New Zealand.
AN ICC media release said the 29-year-old Jamaican has gained five places in the rankings to knock India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Australia's Michael Hussey down to second and third place.
