16 Children Hospitalized After Taking Hepatitis B VaccineAfter being injected the Hepatitis B vaccine at a health camp in Totapada village, 30 km from Bhubaneswar, at least 16 children fell ill and were taken to hospital.

The health camp was organized by an NGO ‘Naibedya.’

Out of the 50 children who were given Hepatitis B vaccine, sixteen children suddenly fell ill and were admitted to district headquarters hospital of Khurda after they complained of vomitting and head reeling.

The police officials said that three activists of the NGO were in custody for interrogation.

They found that 175 had insufficient levels of vitamin D.
