Sven rules himself out for Sweden coach role
London, Oct. 21: Former England football team manager Sven Goran Eriksson has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Sweden coaching role.
Swede Eriksson, 61, has decided he wants to concentrate on his role as director of football at League Two side Notts County, reports The Sun.
Swedish FA chairman Lars-Ake Lagrell said: "Last week we made contact with Sven, who is one of the people we thought could be a possibility for the job as national team coach. We have had good discussions but he has now decided that, with regards to his contract with Notts County, there is no possibility of him taking charge of the national team now." (ANI)
