Colombo, June 16: At least ten people were killed and several others injured in a suicide blast in Sri Lanka's northern town of Vavuniya.

The suicide bomber came riding a motorbike and reportedly blasted himself in front of a police office in the town, police said.

The injured have been admitted to a near by hospital.

Soon after the attack, the area has been sealed off by the security forces. (ANI)
