Soylent 2.0 will be available in liquid form

According to reports, Soylent that is a meal replacement has made an announcement regarding its product: Soylent 2.0. The new product could be consumed as ready to drink and is packed in recyclable bottles. As per reports, each bottle stands for one-fifth of a daily meal plan.

As per reports, twelve bottles will be sold for $29 when they will be available for sale in October. And preorders have gone live. Similar to the original product, it'll also be sold online only, at least for the time being.

Conventionally, Soylent is available in powder form; the users mix it with water at their home. It represents as much as a complete day's ration.

Soylent has always been related to efficiency as a product so its creator, Rob Rhinehart, answered the question regarding their move to a less efficient approach. He accepted that when it comes to shipping, it becomes somewhat inefficient around water.

However, he said the drink is not needed to be refrigerated and does not spoil until a period of one year. He added, “Given the amount of food that is thrown away, that spoils, and the unconscionable amount of energy that we spend on refrigeration in the United States, I think that it's still a vast resource savings over the majority of the food system".

Soylent 2.0 will unquestionably attract existing Soylent users as a new and exciting option, however the company appears to be optimistic that the launch of new product will also help its addressable base.
