Site receives Flood of Photos after posting Picture of 101-Year-Old with Baby

Patrick Quinn is co-founder of the Life of Dad social media network for dads. Earlier, the site posted a photo of a baby with 101-year-old family member. According to Quinn, after posting that photo, the site received a number of photos.

Quinn said the response was very shocking. The picture was originally shared by Sarah Hamm of Gilbert, Arizona. Hamm clicked the photo when she brought her two-week-old daughter Kaylee Rowland to meet her 101-year-old Grandma Rosa Camfield, who is also the family's oldest living relative.

After seeing the photo on Life of Dad social media network, more than 100 readers posted their own multigenerational photos. According to Quinn, the site is receiving a number of photos after posting that photo. The photograph has really inspired the other reader, Quinn added.

He said the real shocker for him was that a number of photos that the site received have claimed an even bigger age gap than 101. The site's highest gap in age was 112 years, according to the co-founder.

While talking to The Huffington Post, Quinn said, "People were really drawn to the image for reasons we didn't foresee. They thought of all of the things this woman has seen and lived through in her lifetime and imagined how her experiences will shape the life of the baby just starting her own journey".

Hamm said she had no idea that the photo will trigger such a response. She said even she was delighted when she saw the response. According to her, Grandma Rosa was born on June 13, 1913 on Friday the 13th. Rosa is currently living in Chandler with her daughter. She also has three children, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, according to Hamm.

Tom Riles, co-founder of the site, said that it was delighted to see the reaction triggered by the photo.
