Sir Paul McCartney wants to sing for Michelle Obama
Washington, Nov 10 : English rocker Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he would like to sing for Michelle Obama.
The former ‘Beatles’ legend is so ecstatic with Barack Obama’s victory that he has nothing but praises for the U. S. President-elect.
“I think sincerely he is the man for the job. I think it is a legendary occasion and I wish him the very best,” People magazine quoted McCartney as telling Britain''s Sky News backstage at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
“I hope to get the opportunity to sing ... to his wife. I have a little song ready for him,” he said.
When McCartney was asked what tune he had in mind, he started purring the start to one of the most famous songs of the 1960s, “Michelle”.
McCartney, who picked up the Ultimate Legend award at the event in his hometown of Liverpool, declared that the election had turned out to his liking.
“I was so ‘fingers crossed’ he would win it,” he said.
“I’m so chuffed,” he exclaimed. (ANI)
