Siemens wins orders worth Rs 161 crore from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam
Siemens India, a flagship company of Siemens Group has secured two orders worth Rs 161.40 crore from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, a Government of India enterprise for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).
The first order is for the power supply and augmentation package and the second order is for the plant material handling systems.
Apart from this, Siemens' Industry Solutions (I&S) division has received Rs 87 crore order from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam to provide the power supply and augmentation package for their VSP.
The scope of work includes turnkey setup of 220kV substations as well as to supply and install 14 bays of 220kV outdoor switchyards at two locations.
