Siblings with collective age of 855 could be world's oldest family
London, February 11 : 11 siblings from the UK, whose collective age sums up to 855 years, could be the oldest family in the world, it has been revealed.
The Guinness World Records have confirmed that they know of no other group born to same parents with such a higher combined age similar to the siblings of the Brudenell family, who grew up in a small terrace house in Middlesbrough, the Daily Express reported.
The five brothers and six sisters include Robert Brudenell, 68, John Brudenell, 69, Jean Ewart, 71, Marion Campbell, 74, James Brudenell, 76, Vincent Brudenell, 78, May Clarkson, 79, Mary Tipping, 80, Winifred Devine, 83, William Brudenell, 88, and Bernadette Lowrie, 89.
The world records officials have said that the highest combined age till date was of nine siblings with a total of 828 years and that they would welcome an application from the Brudenell family. (ANI)
