Shiv Sena Supremo’s Health ImprovingAccording to senior Shiv Sena leaders, Party Chief Bal Thackeray, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra on the night of June 18, was recovering fast.

Confirming the development, Jalil Parkar, Thackeray's physician said: “His condition is fine and his blood pressure is well-maintained.”

Thackeray was admitted to the hospital after he complained of breathing problems.

Parker further informed that the decision on Sena’s supremo discharge from the hospital would be taken in a couple of days.

Meanwhile, well-known cardic surgeon Dr Ramakant Panda, who operated on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also visited Lilavati hospital along with his team and examined the 82-year-old patriarch leader.

According to the sources, Thackeray spoke to his family members and close aides on Sunday.

Among those who met Thackeray were senior Sena leaders Diwakar Raote, Anantrao Adsul and Subhash Desai.

Speaking on his father’s condition, Uddhav Thackeray said: “Balasaheb is fit and fine. I appeal to people to not believe rumours.”

It should be noted here that Bal Thackeray has been a regular visitor at the hospital for the last two years owing to age-related problems.
