The news is that Shiney Ahuja has been shifted to a separate barrack on Friday night.

While confirming the news, a senior police officer speaking on the condition of anonymity said: “Shiney Ahuja was shifted to a separate barracks at around 9.30 or 10pm on Friday for security reasons.”

However, the official refused that the actor and rape accused was being ragged by other inmates in Arthur Road jail.

The official further added that the actor is eating jail food and hasn't received home-cooked food so far.

According to the insiders, it is learnt that Shiney met with a real life gangster Mustafa Dossa in the jail last week.

As per the sources, other prisoners in the barrack pounced on the actor and started bugging him till Dossa came to his rescue.

It should be noted here that Mustafa Dossa was very close to fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim and is accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case.

Adding to this, a source revealed, “He also arranged for a fresh pair of clothes for the actor.”

Meanwhile, Shiney's wife Anupam visited the jail at around 3pm on Saturday and was allowed to meet him for nearly half an hour.
