The second season of ‘Bigg Boss’ is all set to hit the TV screen from August-end on Viacom 18’s new Hindi general entertainment channel, Colors.

The channel has roped in Bollywood’s hot & ravishing beauty Shilpa Shetty to host the show looking at her popularity quotient that she had earned after winning UK’s popular reality TV show Big Brother.

Shilpa will replace superb actor Arshad Warsi, who hosted Bigg Boss – Season 1.

According to a source, “Shilpa has been signed on for a whopping Rs 8 crore by the production house. She is the first celeb to be finalised on the show while the participants are yet to be finalised.”

Shilpa’s racial discrimination has created much hullabaloo throughout the world. The show organizers are trying to take full advantage of her reputation by signing up her as a host of the show. To them, the leggy lasso is the ideal choice.

The show is scheduled to be telecast once the reality show program ‘Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi’, hosted by Akki, goes off air.

Bigg Boss-2 will be Shilpa’s second coming on Indian television after ‘Jhalak Dikhlaaja’, a reality dance show.
