Shark at Florida Beach Pier makes Beach-Goers Run out of Water

People were enjoying sunshine at Jacksonville Beach, but their fun got spoiled when someone noticed a shark fin in shallow water, making the beachgoers come out of water. The incident took place just before 3pm.

After sometime, swimmers went back near the edge of the water and took photos of the shark. Soon, they realized the presence of another shark near Jacksonville Pier. No one was injured.

One of the persons named Admir Osmanovic, who watched the incident, shared that he was playing soccer and noticed that everyone was staring at something. When he went to see what everyone was seeing, it was a shark.

As per him, it was about a six-foot shark. People came out of the water, but later they were watching the shark and were taking its pictures.

Experts affirmed that viewing the shark at the Florida beach pier was quite a strange sight as not many have seen the shark in Jacksonville and especially, not at that particular beach. According to NewsMax, it was not a random incident.

A fisherman has shared that he had caught the shark, but had to let it go. The fishermen said that law enforcement officials and lifeguards to not to touch the shark and let it go. As per the fisherman, the shark was a bull shark.

National Geographic said that bull sharks can eat almost anything from dolphins to other sharks. Humans are not a high preference for these sharks, but it shall be noted that they can attack people out of curiosity. But this time, no one was attacked by the shark that eventually swam on to deeper waters.
