Sharif offers full cooperation to PPP
Lahore, Mar. 23 : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that his party is ready to cooperate with Pakistan People Party (PPP) for bringing a real change in Pakistan.
Addressing the party's General Council meeting at his Raiwind estate here, Sharif announced that he would back the government's move to hold talks with India.
The PML-N would offer help to the PPP to pull the country out of the present crises.
Describing the March 16 incident as being no less than any revolution, he said he was stunned when he saw thousands of people coming out from all sides to support the move for the restoration of sacked judges.
He said all political parties and lawyers were consulted before calling off the long march.
He revealed that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani met him on Sunday with a message of conciliation, and added that he had no personal difference with President Asif Ali Zardari and only wanted a fulfilment of all pledges.
He appealed to all the parties to join hands for eradicating injustice, poverty, unemployment, load shedding, restoration of constitution and law and order and the sovereignty of the country. (ANI)
