The forecasts are out about the tough competitors at the World Championship starting on 17th April 2010. Mark Selby's favorite is Ronnie O'Sullivan.

He said "Ronnie is Ronnie, he's untouchable at times". Adding to his comments he said that he is genius and could be a favorite in every tournament.

Earlier O'Sullivan dismissed chances that Selby can win at the crucible. He said that he and Selby both are suffering from same inconsistency.

Talking about China Open he said that he started the season quite poorly, but has come stronger in the last few tournaments. He added that other players in the tournament are in good shape with many being quite consistent.

About Ronnie he said that he is the best player and it was very sweet to beat him in the final.

Meanwhile, the new Chairman of the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association has proposed some changes. It has proposed to increase the prize money, more games, with a 12-event Player Tour Championship culminating in a 24-man Player's Championship and a pro-am World open replacing the existing Grand Prix.
