Scotland Yard to assist in BDR mutiny investigationsDhaka, Mar. 10 : Premier investigation agency, Scotland Yard would be sending its team here to help the local investigation agency probe the Bangladesh Rifles
(BDR) mutiny which left 74 BDR personnel dead.

Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Britain''s Minister for International Development, Mike Foster, said the investigative team would consist of four Scotland Yard officials.

According to reports, it is revealed that the revolt could have been pre-planned.

Sources indicated that involvement of some outsiders could not be ruled out.

The News quoted a senior official, as saying that involvement of around 450 BDR officials and jawans in the revolt was established. (ANI)
