Melbourne, December 24 : A tissue used by cold-infected Scarlett Johansson, which had been put on eBay auction for charity, has fetched 5,300 dollars.

The `Girl with a Pearl Earring' star had said on `The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' that it was co-star Samuel L Jackson who had been the perpetrator of her sickness.

The stunner had blown her nose twice on the show, leaving mucus and lipstick on the tissue, which was later, packed in a plastic bag and autographed by the vocalist, reports News. com. au.

The actress had announced that she would be putting her used tissue, boasting of celebrity illness, on auction and has managed to raise funds for hunger relief charity USA Harvest.

According to eBay, bidding for the mucus had started at 0.99 dollars but jumped to 4,050 dollars just hours before the auction came to an end. (ANI)
