Sarah Palin wants to bury the hatchet with Levi Johnston
Washington, Nov 13 : Sarah Palin wants to make peace with Levi Johnston, the father of her daughter Bristol’s son, because she does not want to “keep going down this road of controversy and drama”.
According to the Politico, in an interview to Oprah Winfrey, Palin said Johnston “needs to know that he is loved, and he has the most beautiful child and this can all work out for good.”
Answering if she intended to invite Johnston to Thanksgiving, Palin said: “it’s lovely to think that he would ever even consider such a thing. Because of course ... he is a part of the family, and you want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing.”
She added: “We don’t have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time…. We’re not really into the drama. We don’t really like that. We’re more productive. We have other things to concentrate on.”
In late October Palin had slammed CBS News for giving a stage to Johnston to speak lies that defame her.
Johnston had alleged on "The Early Show," that the former Alaska governor used to call Trig, her son with Down syndrome, "retarded baby."
However, Palin had reacted to Johnston’s claims by referring to his Playgirl shoot and saying: "CBS should be ashamed for continually providing a forum to propagate lies. Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies - those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention."
