Lucknow, Mar 15 : Bollywood actor-turned-politician and socialist Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Sanjay Dutt re-enacted role in the popular movie ''Munnabhai MBBS'' while addressing youth activists in his constituency, Lucknow, on Saturday.
"I am not here to give a speech. I am here to work. We will work together. This cycle (poll symbol of regional Samajwadi Party (SP)) is mine, and we will take this cycle to Delhi," said Dutt.
Dutt, whose nomination hinges on the Election Commission''s decision vis-a-vis the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, said that he would strive to work for the welfare of the people.
Addressing the rally, party general secretary Amar Singh said that the newly revived Third Front would not have any prospects without the Congress party.
"Prakash Karat, Deve Gowda or Jayalalitha, no one is capable of forming the Central Government without Congress support," he said.
The SP and Congress have at present agreed to a loose seat-sharing deal on majority of seats in Uttar Pradesh.
Ten parties, comprising BSP, some regional parties and the Communists, came together to launch the ''Third Front'' ahead of general elections beginning next month.
The Third Front, which have 70 seats between them in the 543-member Lower House of Parliament, will take on the Congress party and the BJP. (ANI)
