The 15th seeded pair if India's Sania Mirza and Chia-Jung Chuang of Chinese Taipei have advanced to the second round of the women's double event of the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London on Thursday.

Mirza-Chuang duo has defeated unseeded pair of Americans Jill Craybas and Carly Gullickson in straight sets by 6-4, 6-2 in the first round of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

The first set was a bit tough for the duo of Mirza and Chuang as they dropped their serve twice but they managed to win the set by 6-4.

While second set was a lot easier for the pair of Mirza and Chuang as they won the set without conceding a break point and won the match which lasted for 79 minutes.

Mirza-Chuang duo will now play against Alla Kudryavtseva and Monica Niculescu in the second round of the women's double event of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Alla-Monica duo has defeated Spanish pair of Lourdes Dominguez Lino and Aranta Parra Santonja by 7-5, 4-6, 6-1 in their first round match.
