India tennis stars including Somdev Devvarman, Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi have faced drop in their respective rankings in the latest ATP and WTA rankings issued on Tuesday.

Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza has slipped to 85th position in the women's singles category while she retained her 37th rank in the women's doubles category. Sania had crashed out in the second round of Wimbledon championship due to which she lost seven places.

Somdev's ranking has dropped to 153rd place while Bhupathi slipped one spot to be at ninth position in the men's doubles rankings.

Although, Leander Paes has retained his sixth spot in men's double.

Prakash Amritraj also slipped five spots to be at 159 in men's single.

Somdev and Prakash were unable to make into the main draw of Wimbledon after they crashed out in first and third round of qualifying rounds respectively.
