Samsung’s 3D-enabled LED in UK by March
The much awaited 3D-enabled LED HDTV by Samsung will reach the UK market by March this year, the company announced on Tuesday.
As per the company, three different models with the same technology would be launched in the beginning and the number of options might be increased after seeing the response it generates. Samsung has named the models as Samsung C7000, C8000 and C9000.
The smallest in the range would be the 40 inch 3D LED HDTV. All the three models will be Ethernet-enabled and would also be 'Wireless Ready'. The company, however, provided no details about the prices of the products. Besides this, Samsung also plans to unveil the range of its 3D Blu-ray players and 3D Plasma models soon.
Samsung is coming with this range after looking at the great potential that the 3D segment provides. Samsung's Andy Griffiths said that after looking at the success of the 3D movies, the company is now looking forward to tap this huge potential. He said that people want to enjoy rich content in 3D format in the comfort of their homes, and that is exactly what Samsung is targeting.
