Singh is king has been surrounded by controversies since it announcement. Finally its music was released yesterday. Even this music release was not free from clouds of suspicion. People were shocked to see Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the chief guest on the occasion. He released the music of Singh in King that sees his lady love Katrina Kaif in the lead role opposite Akshay Kumar. But the hero of the movie was himself absent on the occasion. Initially this music was to be released by Amitabh Bachchan, who came a bit early for the launch, but left the place abruptly just before Salman Khan’s arrival there.

Singh is King has been under lots of controversy following some Sikh religious leaders’ objections over some film shots. Though at least seven scenes have been filmed again but Sikh clergy has still not given green signal to the film. In fact just two days ago President of Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) said that he has not given a go ahead to the film. But in spite of all the complications music release was a grand affair. The evening was charmed by the beautiful performance by Pakistani group Azal, Hard Kaur and Mika.

Vipul Shah the film director who was obviously overjoyed over the turn out of the people said, “Today is a big day for us as the music of our film is being released and we did not expect such a good response, so all of us are very excited and very charged. This encourages us to work harder and to make a better picture.”

But apparently everything was not well on the occasion.  Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan used to be on very good terms till Aishwarya Rai started dating his son Abhishek Bachchan.
