Salman Khan has won the Zee TV's popular reality show 'LUX DANCE INDIA DANCE' after defeating the other three finalists Jai Kumar Nair, Alisha Singh and Siddhesh Pai at an event held at Shahaji Raje Krida Sankul (Andheri Sports Complex) on Saturday (May 30).

The young and talented Salman impressed the jury as well as the viewers through his power packed performances.

He got the highest votes, and declared as the winner of 'LUX DANCE INDIA DANCE'.

While commenting on the grand finale, Mr. Nitin Vaidya, COO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. and Business Head, Zee TV stated, " Lux Dance India Dance has redefined reality programming on Indian television by giving India the biggest Dancing Star. Amidst much pomp and splendour, yesteryear superstar Mithun Chakraborthy declared Bangalore boy Salman as the winner of the reality dance show, and gave away the Sunheri Taqdeer Ki Topi (The Golden hat) to him.

Moreover, Salman has been presented an exclusive contract worth Rs 50 lakh from Zee TV, and an exclusive opportunity to star in a Bollywood film.

Lux Dance India Dance, which started in January 2009, has been judged by the best talents in the Bollywood industry including Remo D' Souza, Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor and hosted by Jai Bhanushali and the popular RJ, Tarana Raja.

The original disco dancer, Mithun Chakraborti served as the grand master in this reality show.

Besides, the superb dance reality show has seen many Bollywood glitterati including Salman Khan, Farah Khan, Prabhu Deva, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kamlesh Patel and many others.
