Salesforce Health1 enables providers to have complete view of Patient
Salesforce is taking a significant step in healthcare world by introducing Salesforce Health1. It is a cloud-based patient relationship management solution that enables caregivers to have complete view of the patient. Also, they can connect with patients through mobile, social media and other channels.
Caregivers will have complete view of the patient through electronic medical records (EMRs), wearables and other measures. Patient information will be present in Health1’s Timeline view allowing caregivers to know about patient’s recovery journey.
Providers will able to make better decisions and can engage with patients across their caregiver network. Through the Patient Caregiver Map, clinicians will able to map household relationships, providers and specialists across a patient’s healthcare network.
Also, Salesforce Health1’s Today screen notifies caregivers about issues, like a missed appointment or a need to refill medications. Salesforce Chatter allows doctors to go through internal conversation going on with regard to certain patient. It ensures collaboration across the care network.
The product will provide the flow of information two ways. Currently, patients can access the dashboard and a nurse can follow up a patient through text. Ross Mason, founder and vice president of product strategy for MuleSoft, said, “MuleSoft provides critical integration services to allow hospitals and caregivers to free data from these systems, connecting to Health1 so that care coordinators and other employees can get a holistic view of their patients and deliver the best care possible”.
Dr. Joshua Newman, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Salesforce Healthcare and Life Sciences, precision health is allowing them to have more meaningful, accurate and long-term relationships with patients.
