Jasvir Singh, B.K. Rout, Gaurav Pikale and Sachin Singha have registered wins in both Standard and 4.7 categories of the Laser National championships at the Hussain Sagar on Thursday.

Jasvir, who gave a standalone performance, won the seventh race on the Standard class, while Rout had to work hard for his win in the eighth race.

Gaurav Pikale of EME Sailing Association won the seventh race in the 4.7 category, while Sachin Singha of National Sailing School emerged victorious in the eighth race.

The weather on Thursday was pleasant with sunshine and windy conditions in contrast with the dense clouds on the lake on Wednesday.

Rout, who returned from a 40 day vacation in Orissa, said that in the strong windy conditions today, the muscle strength was more important than the usage of the brain power.
