Ronaldo vows to stay at ManU for ‘years and years’London, Jan 14 : Ace Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has committed his long-term future to the club, despite continued efforts from Real Madrid to unsettle the newly-crowned World Player of the Year.

Ronaldo said he is staying at Old Trafford to help them dominate English and European football for the next five years.

Portugal star Ronaldo, 23, said it would start with United winning everything this season.

"I intend to win as many trophies with this club for as long as possible. Manchester United can dominate for years. We're a young team and the future is good," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

"I want to be here and part of the success that lies ahead. It is great to be part of such a fantastic club. I intend to be here for years and years," he added.

United will go top of the Premier League for the first time if they beat Wigan at Old Trafford tonight and win at Bolton on Saturday. They have already won the World Club Championship and are in the last 16 of the Champions League, the fourth round of the FA Cup and the semi-finals of the Carling Cup.

"We're going to try to win the lot, and why not?" said Ronaldo. "In my head I know it is possible. The priority is to retain the Premier League and the Champions League and we have the players, the spirit and desire to do more. We want to make history by winning all five trophies." (ANI)
