Mexico City  - A rockfall in a Mexican mine killed two workers on Saturday and injured another two, Mexican officials said.

Boulders weighing several tons tore loose in the open-cast mine in Abasolo, near the northern Mexican city of Monterrey, and buried the workers.

The body of one of the two dead has been recovered. Two other workers were injured and brought to hospital, rescue officials said. (dpa)
