Rice plays Brahms for Queen Elizabeth II
London - US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice played piano for Britain's Queen Elizabeth II at a recital in Buckingham Palace, the Press Association reported Tuesday.
Rice, who played a Brahms piece, was accompanied by British Foreign Secretary David Miliband's wife Louise and three members of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Rice, an accomplished pianist, "expressed a wish" to play at the palace, and the queen, who listened to part of the performance, allowed her to use the music room. (dpa)
