Reliance Mobile and RIM launch ‘Reliance E-Lite’ plan for BlackBerry users in India  The Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s Reliance Mobile and the maker of BlackBerry phones, Research In Motion (RIM) have launched ‘Reliance E-Lite’ plan for the users of BlackBerry smartphones in India.

The ‘Reliance E-Lite’ plan allows the BlackBerry smartphone users to have unlimited access to e-mail, instant messaging (IM), and other popular attachment formats for a monthly rent of Rs 299.

The ‘Reliance E-Lite’ service plan provides unlimited access to leading email services like Yahoo! Mail and Google Mail, and instant messaging services including Yahoo Messenger, Google talk, Windows Live Messenger and BlackBerry Messenger. The service allows the Reliance customers to access up to 10 supported POP3/IMAP email accounts. It allows users to view popular attachment formats including JPEG, TIF, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
 
The ‘Reliance E-Lite’ service plan is presently available on all BlackBerry smartphones available from Reliance Mobile, including BlackBerry8703e, BlackBerry8830, BlackBerryCurve8300, BlackBerryCurve8900, BlackBerryPearl8110, and BlackBerryPearl 8130.
