Pak minister Rehman’s resignation drama refuses to die downLahore, Mar 16: The drama behind the resignation of Information Minister Sherry Rehman is not going to die down easily, as there are very few takers for the explanation given by Pakistan People’s Party stalwarts about the circumstances leading to her exit from the office.

PPP MNA Fouzia Wahab on Sunday narrated her own version of the story. Talking to a news channel on Sunday, she stated that Rehman had resigned two weeks ago, but no formal announcement was made at that time.

Sources in the board said that the PCB was not very hopeful of the Bangladesh Cricket Board getting clearance from their government for the tour.

Pakistan was due to tour Bangladesh from March 7 to play five One-day Internationals and two Twenty20 matches.

The provincial Information Minister, Iftikhar Hussain said qazis would be appointed in other areas soon, once their appointments in the Swat region is completed.

Hussain also asked Swat Education Board officials to refund the examination fees of students in the Swat Valley.
