Salman Khan set to premiere 'Jai Ho' in DubaiDubai, Jan 17 : Salman Khan has chosen Dubai for the world premiere his upcoming film ' Jai Ho'.

According to film's co-producer, Parvez Khan, the red carpet roll call will see Khan along with his lead actress Daisy Shah and director S ohail Khan at Meydan Imax, Gulf News reported.

The film, which is allegedly the remake of a South Indian film 'Stalin', is about the power of the ordinary man, which sees Khan fight injustice in society .

China's Liu wins World Tour TT title

Liu said that while Ding was a strong competitor, she was lucky as she won a number of key points in the last two sets.

Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews, who struck 91 and an unbeaten career-best 157, has moved up 16 places to a best-ever 13th spot in the ICC Test batsmen rankings while Kumar Sangakkara has slid a position to sixth, but remains the highest-ranked batsman from either side.

"This is a big step for us. We've been working for the past years on really transferring this know-how and technology to UAE nationals," Salem Al Merri, assistant director-general for scientific and technical affairs at Emirates Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (EIAST), the Gulf News newspaper.

Equity in the Indian carrier for $379 million; equity in the carrier's frequent flyers program for $150 million; $300 million for debt financing; and sale & lease-back of three slots at Heathrow Airport for $70 million.

India meet Pakistan in opening match of ICC U-19 World Cup

The 59-year-old actor said that books are unconditional teachers, because you can either learn them or you can't, the Gulf News reported.

Kapil will be accompanied by Sunil Grover, who plays the role of Gutthi in the show 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' on Indian television, for the Nov 22 show, the Times Of Oman reported Thursday.

According to the report, there is a long queue of people before ticket counters for the show.

"We have never ever experienced a response like this," a spokesperson of Roar Entertainment, the organisers of the show, said.

The two-seater RV 12 is six metres long and is the result of thousands of hours of dedication by a group of Emirates' engineering trainees, working in their spare time.

Over a two-year period, the group of 40 trainees rose to the challenge of assembling 11,000 parts of the aircraft.

England, Wales to host 2019 cricket World Cup

ICC-world-cup-2019Dubai, May 27 : The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) officially signed the agreement to stage the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.

The tournament will be held throughout June 2019 and will be played at 10 venues. It is currently scheduled to involve 10 teams, according to espncricinfo. com.

"The signing of this agreement now enables ECB to enter into staging agreements with venues who wish to stage matches in the World Cup," ECB chief executive David Collier said here.
