Real looks set to seal 63 mln-pound deal for Colombian WC star Rodriguez

James-RodriguezLondon, July 18 : Spanish League club Real Madrid look set to tie up a move for Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez as the midfielder has reportedly agreed terms for a 63 million pound deal with the 10-time European champions.

Real claims that the AS Monaco man, who moved to the Principality club for 38 million pounds from Portuguese side Porto last summer, will move to the Spanish capital for 63 million pounds.

Rodriguez's reputation has risen sharply this summer, as he was the top scorer in the FIFA 2014 World Cup , having scored six goals at the tournament in Brazil, The Mirror reported.

Earlier in the summer Rodriguez had admitted his preference to move to Spain and La Liga, ahead of the Premier League.

Rodriguez said that he had said in the past that he would like to play in Spain one day, because it is a league that is good technically and where one gets a lot of touches on the ball, which is his style.

Rodriguez added that the Premier League is maybe a bit physical at this stage. (ANI)
